Kelly’s Career Development Memberships
Kelly’s students begin with a three-month gym commitment to train, learn how WIM works, and let Kelly get to know their work. Continuing students then develop goals and ongoing mentorship at their pace. David’s Meisner program is separate, with a six-month commitment and benefits defined by David. In the gym, practice scenes, auditions, self-tapes, listening, and taking adjustments. Through your WIM membership, develop the craft, mindset, and business habits to move your career forward—with guidance from Kelly, support between sessions, and a community that grows with you.

Specialty Class: Meisner with David A. Cox
Study with a direct student of Sanford Meisner. David A. Cox trained with Meisner for four years in New York City. Your work in this room connects to that firsthand experience: listening fully, responding truthfully, and allowing behavior to develop in the moment.
Saturdays: 2–5 PM Eastern
Attend: in person, Villa Rica
Membership: $150/month + $50 one-time registration
Commitment: six months
A personal connection to the source. David studied in Meisner’s private class and later received a handwritten letter granting permission to teach his technique. His background includes acting, directing, and teaching in New York, Los Angeles, and Austin. He also draws on Michael Shurtleff’s audition approach to connect scene work with audition preparation.
Read more about David’s training and Meisner’s letter.
David’s specialty class: Words In Motion handles registration; David directs his training and individual working blocks. Audit the class and ask David what is included and how to arrange individual time. His support happens primarily in class, without outside-class phone support. Kelly’s mentorship package is not included.

Continuing membership with Kelly: your career keeps moving between classes.
An audition can arrive before you feel ready. A headshot decision can leave you unsure. Signing with an agent can raise new questions. Membership gives you a place to bring those questions, understand your responsibilities, and decide what to work on next.
Practice before the pressure.
Class is your gym. Work on scenes, script analysis, auditions, self-tapes, improv, and adjustments. Practice the process—from setting up your tape to meeting the deadline—so you can discover problems, receive feedback, and work through them before an important opportunity.
Know your next step.
Membership is your career development. Get guidance on your strengths, goals, headshots, résumé, footage, and readiness for representation. Kelly gets to know your work and progress, so the conversation can grow with you.
From the gym to major film and television productions.
Words In Motion students have worked in DC and Marvel superhero films, productions on Disney, Lifetime, HBO Max, Netflix, and Amazon Prime Video, network television, and national commercials.
That work takes more than a strong performance in class. Actors need preparation, professional judgment, clear communication, and an understanding of how the industry works.
Your membership supports your ongoing career development.
Whether you’re building your foundation, pursuing representation, or already working professionally, WIM gives you a place to keep training and developing your acting career.
Keep growing—even after you have a talent agent.
Your career keeps moving between classes, auditions, and bookings. Kelly helps you make informed decisions with an understanding of your work, your goals, and where you are in your development.
Bring questions about communicating with your agent or production, choosing headshots and reel footage, and developing your marketing and personal brand. When you’re considering a business decision, talk through your next steps with Kelly. She also helps you identify what to work on and how to make the most of your included acting gym.
Stay informed as the industry changes through Kelly’s guidance, our resource groups, and the WIM Skool community. Learn how to prepare, communicate professionally, build relationships, and take an active role in your acting business.
Connect with the wider industry.
Words In Motion Acting Studio sponsors Georgia Arts Initiative (GAII), a separate nonprofit organization that brings artists and industry professionals together through its programs and events. Kelly Young-Silva also serves as GAII’s president. Her mentorship helps actors understand networking, participate thoughtfully, and build meaningful connections within the creative community.
GAII programs have their own registration, eligibility, and any applicable fees. Explore Georgia Arts Initiative or read the recap of GAII’s conversation with casting director Clifton Guterman.
Have somewhere to ask.
Ask Kelly questions during or after class, and stay connected by text and email between sessions. Continue learning in Skool and our private Facebook group. Parents receive guidance as they support their young actor’s development.
For dedicated one-on-one work, active members receive 50% off separately booked private sessions and consultations.
50% off private coaching and career consultations: Active paid WIM members can book a one-hour session for $50, including a yearly goal-setting consultation to review progress and plan next steps. These sessions are booked and paid for separately from monthly membership.
Schedule first, then prepay. Text Kelly at 678-787-5441 or email kelly@atlantaactingstudio.com to agree on your session date and time. Once confirmed, prepay your one-hour member session — $50. Payment does not schedule an appointment.
Not a paid WIM member? You can also book private coaching or a career consultation at the standard rate of $100 for one hour. Text or email Kelly to confirm your date and time first, then prepay your nonmember session — $100. The $50 rate is reserved for active paid WIM members.
Your part: show up, practice, communicate, and use the support. Membership provides training, guidance, and community. You remain responsible for doing the work and taking your next steps.
Membership is an ongoing relationship with the studio, rather than a purchase of individual class visits. We do not offer makeup classes for missed sessions. Private sessions and consultations are booked separately. Representation, auditions, and bookings are never guaranteed.
