Villa Rica Acting Competition: The Big Skit Competition

Villa Rica acting competition is the heart of The Big Skit Competition. This is not just a regular summer acting camp. Young actors ages 7–16 are placed in teams, challenged to create original skits, rehearse under pressure, perform for judges, and compete in a high-energy Words In Motion Acting Studio experience.

What sets this experience apart is the competition. Actors are not simply playing theatre games or filling time during the summer. They are learning how to collaborate, make creative choices, listen to their teammates, take direction, and bring a story to life with purpose.

Why This Villa Rica Acting Competition Is Different

The Big Skit Competition gives young performers the chance to rise to the occasion. Teams work together to build original material, rehearse with focus, and perform in front of an audience and industry-focused judges. Judges may include talent agents, casting directors, directors, producers, and other working film and television professionals.

That industry connection matters. It helps young actors understand that performance is not just about being cute or funny. It is about preparation, courage, teamwork, timing, listening, professionalism, and learning how to deliver when it counts.

Led by Emmy Award-winning acting coach Kelly Young-Silva, this competition gives young actors a place to build confidence, creativity, stage presence, discipline, and performance skills in a supportive but exciting environment.
