Thank You, Jessica Fox-Thigpen — And Welcome, Jeff Justice

At Georgia Arts Initiative, one of the things we care deeply about is creating real access to knowledge, connection, and truth for those working in or hoping to work in the film industry.

We want to take a moment to sincerely thank Casting Director and Producer Jessica Fox-Thigpen for being our featured guest for one of our GAII Monthly Zoom sessions.

Jessica brought honesty, wisdom, and practical insight to the conversation. She answered questions that many actors and creatives have quietly carried for years—questions about casting, auditions, professionalism, industry expectations, networking, training, and what it truly takes to grow in this business. The session gave attendees real perspective from someone actively working in the industry, and it helped shine light on areas that often leave people confused or discouraged.

What made this session especially meaningful is that it was not just informative. It was human.

These monthly GAII Zoom gatherings are doing more than delivering information. They are helping those in the film industry build deeper relationships with one another. In a business where so many people feel like they are trying to figure it all out alone, these conversations create a place where people can ask questions, listen, learn, and grow together.

That matters.

Too many people stay in the dark because they do not know who to ask, where to turn, or how the industry really works. That is one of the reasons Georgia Arts Initiative continues to host these conversations. Our guests are helping remove the guesswork. They are helping people better understand the industry they are trying to enter and navigate.

We want you to succeed.

We want actors, filmmakers, creatives, and aspiring professionals to feel more equipped, more connected, and more confident moving forward. And that is exactly why these Zoom sessions matter so much to us.

We are also excited to welcome our next guest for April, Jeff Justice.

Jeff Justice brings a unique perspective through his work as a comedian, speaker, and comedy coach. His background in communication, storytelling, timing, confidence, and connection promises to bring another meaningful layer to our ongoing conversations. We are looking forward to what he will share and how his experience can encourage and challenge those in our community.

At Georgia Arts Initiative, education remains central to our mission, but so does community.

We are not here to keep people out.
We are here to open doors.
We are here to build bridges.
We are here to help people grow.

Thank you again to Jessica Fox-Thigpen for sharing your time, experience, and wisdom with our community.

And thank you to everyone who continues to show up, ask questions, support one another, and become part of what we are building together.

We want you to succeed.
