This is more than a class—it’s a two-day filmmaking experience designed to make actors set-ready.
Under the direction of Emmy-winning filmmakers Diego Silva-Acevedo and Kelly Young-Silva, actors will rehearse, block, and film a scene using the same professional-grade equipment used in Words In Motion productions.
And as the cameras roll—you’ll also be learning how and why the shots are being taken, directly from the award-winning creatives behind them.
What you’ll learn:
🎬 How your movements shape the shot — Learn the type of shot being used and what it reveals about your character
💡 How to find your light, hit your mark, and act with intention — What is the lighting saying in this moment?
🎭 How to serve the story — Translate the director’s vision into powerful, connected choices
