David A. Cox – Acting Instructor at Words In Motion Acting Studio
David A. Cox brings decades of experience to Words In Motion Acting Studio as a seasoned actor, director, and teacher. He studied directly under the legendary Sanford Meisner in New York City from 1966 to 1970 and has taught the Meisner Technique since 1983. With a rich career spanning Off-Off-Broadway performances, co-founding the iconic NoHo Arts District in Los Angeles, and leading the American Renegade Theatre Company for over 17 years, David has directed and acted in more than 65 plays and numerous film and television roles. Combining the Meisner Technique and Michael Shurtleff's Audition Method, David continues to inspire actors, helping them build confidence and land leading roles in both film and theater.
