This class is the start for those with no experience and want to be in person every week. If you would like to audit a class with Steve please, send us a message.  You are welcome to audit more than one class.  We can help you in scheduling the ones that fit your needs. This class is in person only.

We are thrilled to welcome Steven Lowe to the teaching team at Words In Motion Acting Studio! Steven is a talented actor and dedicated instructor specializing in the Meisner Technique. With his deep-rooted experience in the craft and his passion for sharing knowledge, Steven brings a unique blend of expertise and real-world industry experience to our students.

Since launching his acting career in 2019, Steven has quickly established himself as a versatile performer with a growing resume. He has appeared in a wide range of projects, from major networks and streaming platforms like Peacock Network, Amazon Prime, and the Great American Family Network, to independent films and TV shows. His work demonstrates his adaptability and commitment to authentic storytelling.

Steven’s foundation in acting comes from his rigorous study of the Meisner Technique, a transformative method that emphasizes emotional truth, active listening, and improvisation. He has been honing this craft since 2021 under the mentorship of David Cox, who trained directly under Sanford Meisner, the technique’s founder. This authentic training equips Steven to guide students in creating powerful and truthful performances.

As a teacher, Steven is passionate about helping aspiring actors build a solid foundation. He leads beginner Meisner Technique classes where students learn the essentials of the method, including script analysis, improvisation, and the business side of acting. His hands-on approach ensures that students receive not just the technical skills but also the mindset necessary for success in the industry.
