LAST CALL: Words In Motion Acting Skit Competition

Starts MONDAY, July 22nd – 26th, 1pm to 4pm at The V-Plex in Villa Rica

Join us for an exciting week of creativity and performance at the Words In Motion

Acting Camp: Camp 2, running from July 22nd to 26th.

This camp is designed for ages 7-16 and costs only $135 for the entire week, making it accessible and affordable for families who want to explore the world of professional acting.

Special Guests

Gina from MI Talent and Amanda from Embrace Talent will join us on Friday. You are welcome to drop off headshots and resumes with them. Our wonderful agents are stepping in as judges for the competition.

Team and Leadership

Your actor will be placed in a team with working actors as their directors. Leading the teams are Braelyn and Brielle Rankins, who have been leaders for the past 4 years. Braelyn is Young Mufasa in Disney’s The Lion King, and both siblings were part of the main cast for the HBO MAX movie 8-Bit Christmas, among other projects. Learn from them and other talented team leaders throughout the week.

Camp Activities

We encourage minimal adult interference in the creation of the skits, allowing the young actors to collaborate and create compelling, award-winning skits under the pressure of a week’s time. This fosters creativity, teamwork, and leadership among the participants. Actors will learn everything they need to know on camp day one.

What to Bring

• Snacks and Drinks: Please ensure your child has enough snacks and drinks for the week.

• Costume: Actors will need a costume. We encourage homemade characters or something they already have at home. Not require until mid-week.

At the end of the week, awards will be presented for:

• Best Directors

• Best Actors

• Best Skit

We believe competition is fun and necessary for our youth.
